Dr. Madhav
Vyankatesh Ratnaparakhi i.e. Yogeshwaranand Dr. Shri Mangalnath Maharaj is the head of Swami
Macchindranath Gaadi at
Chitrakoot, Karwi, Uttar Pradesh.
Yogeshwaranand Dr.
Shri Mangalnath Maharaj was born on August 12, 1936 (Shravan Vadya Dashami) at
Devgaon-Rangari near Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
As per the
principles of Nath panth, Mangalnath Maharaj's sadhana was completed from the age of 2 years
up to age of 10 year at Pune near Gaadi of Madhavnath Maharaj. Yogabhyanand
Madhavnath Maharaj was the preceding head of Gaadi at Chitrakoot. He was the
main inspiration for Dagadusheth Datta Mandir in Pune.
In 1946 on
auspicious day of Gudhipadwa as per principles of Nath panth at the age of 10 years, Yogeshwaranand
Dr. Shri Mangalnath Maharaj was made head of Chitrakoot Gaadi by Shrimat Shankaracharya in a religious ceremony.
With the feeling
that the spirituality is not restricted to specific people but everyone in this
world can step on the spiritual journey, Yogeshwaranand Dr. Shri Mangalnath
Maharaj, commonly called as Baba, was working with dedication over these years. Mangalnath Maharaj (Baba) made this society well versed to all the teaching and dedicated work done
by Swami Macchindranath for whole world.
Because the whole
world can achieve peace of mind through meditation Mangalnath Maharaj or Baba had opened path of yoga
to every one without any discrimination relating to religion, caste or gender. Nath panth has given right to every person, no
matter which religion he or she belongs or no matter which caste he or she
belongs, to walk on the spiritual journey and have peaceful and prosperous
life. Men and women both are welcomed to have this spiritual journey.
Not matter what is
the religion, no matter what is the caste, by making people “human beings” and
by making a common person a “devotee” and guiding them through the spiritual
journey is the main difficult aim in life of every Sadguru of Natha
panth and Mangalnath Maharaj (Baba) was doing that for whole his life through all these years as perfect Nath panth Sadguru.
Mangalnath Maharaj (Baba) has spread the
importance of sadhana, japa and naamsmaran in every part of society and blessing
people to lead path of Moksha.
In 1993 Yogeshwaranand Dr. Shri Mangalnath Maharaj built world's first ever Swami Macchindranath Mandir at Mitmita, Auranabad, Maharashtra, which is meditation center also where there is sathana kaksha, dyaan mandir, dhwani mandir, goshaala and residential hall. Here Omkaar sadhana, Soham sadhana and Dhyaan sadhana are taught by way of one teacher-one sadhaka. Spiritual progress of each and every sadhaka is blessed by P.P. Baba
According to Mangalnath Maharaj (Baba) both common people as well as the learned intellectuals, derive the meaning of life as per their own limited understanding of life. But life is not just a wordly experience, it is a path towards self-realization (atma darshan) i.e. attaining oneness with God. With devotion, dedication and determination one can achieve spiritual happiness, peace and tranquillity.
Nath sampraday and Datta sampraday both are connected through Lord Dattatraya. Nath sampraday is believed to be an ancient sampraday or panth. Most notable divine personalities in Nath panth are Nivruttinath and Sant Dnyaneshwar. Nivruttinath was Guru of Dnyandev. Gahininath was Guru of Nivruttinath. Nath panth tradition was moved forward through Sant Dnyaneshwar.
After Dnyandev this Nath panth tradition was kept alive by Satyamalnath, Guptanath, Vitthalnath etc. and in recent years Madhavnath Maharaj was the one who devoted his life to spread values of Nath Panth among people. Madhavnath Maharaj was contemporary with Gajanan Maharaj and Sai Baba. P.P. Mangalnath Maharaj was the Nathpanthi who was spreading values and thoughts of this ancient Sampraday among common people.
